Distinguished Research Fellow Shuyu ZHANG
Distinguished Research Fellow Shuyu ZHANG ismainly engaged in the mechanism and prevention strategy of radioactive skin injury. In recent years, he has presided over four projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and five projects at the provincial and ministerial level. In 2015, he obtained the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, and in 2019 obtained the China National Nuclear Corporation (formerly Ministry of Nuclear Industry) Elite Talent Project. He led the team to use multi-dimensional "omics" to systematically explore the molecular spectroscopy changes in the progress of radiation skin injury and radiation lung injury, and revealed the mechanism of oxidative stress switch, free radical cascade effect, proteasome pathway, zinc ion steady state in regulating the progress of acute radiation injury and late fibrosis, provided new ideas and strategies for the prevention and treatment of radiation injury. He has published more than 60 SCI papers, and more than 40 first author and / or corresponding author papers, published in J Invest Dermatol, Int J Radiat Oncol * Biol * Phys, Oncogene, Free Radical Biol & Med, Carcinogenesis, Radiat Res and Radiat Oncol respectively; And some has been cited in high-impact journals such as Nat Genet, PNAS, Genome Res, Antioxid Redox Signal, J Invest Dermatol, Oncogene and Nucleic Acid Res. Part of his research has attracted the attention of international peers and was reported as a highlight paper by the Canadian Global Medical Discovery website. He served as the editorial board member of SCI source journal Exp Ther Med, Chinese Journal of Radiological Medicine and Protection, International Journal of Radiation Medicine and Nuclear Medicine; and He was invited as a reviewer by more than 20 magazines including Theranostics, Carcinogenesis, BBA (Basic Mechanism of Disease), Apoptosis, Int J Biol Sci,and Dose Response. He has obtained 8 national invention patents (4 first inventors) and the second prize of technological invention by the Ministry of Education and the second prize of technological invention by China Nuclear Energy Association (provincial and ministerial level).
